Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office in Paterson, New Jersey, where you will be working from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate each assigned patient, assessing their physical conditions and rehabilitation needs to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to provide comprehensive, goal-driven treatments aimed at maximizing patient mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
• Communicate proficiently with patients, ensuring they understand their treatment programs and encouraging their active participation in the recovery process.
• Adhere strictly to the New Jersey State Practice Act and regulatory guidelines, maintaining a high ethical standard in all interactions.
• Coordinate care effectively with other healthcare professionals and relevant community resources to ensure comprehensive support for your patients.
• Document patient progress meticulously in accordance with best practices, tracking outcomes and revising treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in continuous learning opportunities, providing mentorship to less experienced therapists and contributing to the overall growth of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with encompass a wide range of demographics, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This variety ensures that you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of orthopedic physical rehabilitation in diverse scenarios, adapting your treatment strategies to effectively address the unique needs of each individual. You will utilize assessment skills to interpret age-specific data and develop age-appropriate plans of care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the field of physical therapy, highlighting your ability to provide quality care.
• Sound knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation practices and a track record of successful patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
