Our team consists of experienced practitioners, including two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), working together to deliver personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.

Work Environment

This full-time position entails working exclusively onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation center located in Paterson, NJ. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, allowing for a stable work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the goals and needs of each patient to create tailored treatment plans that maximize their rehabilitation potential.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring ample time for personalized engagement and care.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic techniques and manual therapy skills to facilitate patient recovery and improve functionality.
• Focus on providing cost-effective treatment alternatives that promote improved motion and mobility, emphasizing non-invasive and non-medication-based methods whenever possible.
• Develop and customize fitness and wellness programs designed to meet the specific rehabilitation needs of a diverse patient population.
• Document all services rendered during patient assessments and treatments, maintaining accurate and thorough medical records.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing treatments and adjust care plans as necessary while keeping an open line of communication with patients and their families.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting a holistic approach to health and well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure integrated care for our patients.
• Advocate for and educate patients on lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, focusing on individuals with orthopedic conditions that impact their daily movements and overall quality of life. The diverse patient population ranges from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults regaining mobility after surgery or injury. As a Physical Therapist at Locomotion Restore, you will address a variety of orthopedic diagnoses, tailoring interventions to achieve optimal outcomes for each individual.

Qualifications

• You must have successfully completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program and hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• The ideal candidate should have a clean professional record with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures against their license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs are essential.
• Experience in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable and will greatly benefit your application.
• Demonstrated expertise in patient engagement strategies and the ability to inspire confidence and motivation in patients will be essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and includes comprehensive benefits designed to support your well-being.
