Work Environment

This role is situated in a dynamic onsite rehabilitation facility where you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources, enabling Physical Therapists to implement innovative treatment modalities in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Administer therapies that promote mobility and pain reduction, focusing on cost-effective strategies that minimize reliance on medications.
• Maintain a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized attention.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in our EMR system, WebPT, to track outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Encourage patient engagement throughout therapy, providing motivational support and guidance to enhance adherence to treatment programs.
• Design and implement customized fitness and rehabilitation programs that cater specifically to individual patient needs.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, adjusting interventions as required to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices and innovative therapy approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Raze Orthopedics, you will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals managing chronic conditions, and post-surgical patients seeking to restore function. Your expertise will be crucial in tailoring recovery strategies that focus not only on physical rehabilitation but also on enhancing overall wellness and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated skill in developing evidence-based practice methods that lead to successful patient outcomes.
• Experience in applying comprehensive evaluation techniques and modifying plans based on patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits
