In this pivotal role, you will help patients recover and achieve optimal function through a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, focusing on their mobility and overall well-being. Work Environment

You will work onsite within a collaborative team consisting of two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our practice promotes a friendly and professional atmosphere where therapists can focus on clinical excellence while being supported by administrative staff. The scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that is key to sustaining the high quality of care we provide.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess and understand each patient's needs, establishing personalized treatment goals and methodologies.
• Effectively manage a workload of two patients per hour, delivering hands-on therapy and alternative treatment options tailored to maximize movement potential.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility, strength, and functional ability, while minimizing reliance on pain medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Create detailed care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapies and exercise regimens appropriate for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Lead and motivate patients to achieve their wellness goals, facilitating their progress through sustained support and encouragement.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress meticulously to maintain compliance and optimize care delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, fostering open communication and sharing insights regarding patient progress and treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As part of our team, you will provide compassionate care to a diverse demographic, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the varied physical and emotional needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with a clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proven knowledge and expertise in manual therapy techniques and patient-centered therapeutic practices.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to track patient progress and streamline documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a strong ability to assess and treat a range of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience in developing customized exercise regimens and wellness programs aligned with the latest physiotherapy research.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
