Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Designing and implementing personalized therapy plans based on each patient's specific needs and progress.
• Guiding patients through targeted exercises to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical performance.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques, including manipulation and mobilization, to alleviate pain and facilitate healing.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using EMR systems, particularly WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, such as joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, ensuring that each individual receives customized care that promotes healing and empowers them to achieve their physical goals. Your expertise in manual therapy and rehabilitation strategies will play a crucial role in supporting patients on their road to recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no restrictions.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, with a proven track record of applying these methods effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Certification in specialized manual therapy techniques or related area.

Compensation and Benefits
