Up And Running Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to become an integral part of our thriving orthopedic outpatient clinic located in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our modern outpatient facility in Ridgewood, NJ, where we emphasize teamwork and collaboration among our healthcare professionals. The office is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology, creating an optimal environment for patient rehabilitation. You will work regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a manageable patient volume averaging two patients per hour, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal conditions to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, employing manual techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual patient needs.
• Guide patients through customized rehabilitation programs aimed at promoting healing and restoring function.
• Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care strategies, injury prevention, and effective home exercises.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals, to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using EMR systems, such as WebPT, to support ongoing patient management and care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes striving to return to sports to older adults seeking assistance with mobility issues. Our goal is to empower patients by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to actively participate in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist License in New Jersey, in good standing with no prior board actions.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with therapeutic modalities.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing and implementing patient-specific rehabilitation protocols.
• Background in sports medicine and a strong understanding of athletic injuries.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team dynamic.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
