Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our outpatient office. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while maximizing patient interaction during the week. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatment using evidence-based practices and customized manual techniques.
• Instruct patients on rehabilitation exercises to enhance mobility and prevent further injury.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Utilize our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to maintain up-to-date patient documentation, ensuring compliance with medical regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals undergoing rehabilitation after surgeries, and those with chronic pain or musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with patients of various ages, conducting thorough evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans that consider their specific lifestyle needs, health conditions, and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong competence in manual therapy techniques and movement-based treatments.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient documentation and record-keeping.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary action from the licensure board.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in sports medicine and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Experience in developing group therapy sessions and community outreach programs.
• Prior involvement in mentoring new staff or students in clinical settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
