Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Haworth, NJ. Here, you will have access to state-of-the-art treatment modalities and a collaborative workspace where you can work closely with multidisciplinary teams. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring that patient care remains the top priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans involving hands-on manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual patient goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, injury prevention strategies, and post-treatment care to empower them and enhance their understanding.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation, treatment notes, and progress reports.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. You will engage with a diverse demographic, providing you the chance to apply a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions based on each patient's unique needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, in good standing.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, ideally in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong manual therapy skills, including but not limited to joint mobilizations and soft tissue techniques.
• Experience with EMR software, preferably WebPT, to document patient assessments and treatment outcomes.
• A clean licensure history with no disciplinary actions.

Preferred Experience

• Additional certifications in specialized therapy methods (i.e., Dry Needling, Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) are a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting with high patient turnover is advantageous.
• Prior experience in educating patients on wellness and preventive care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
