Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our outpatient office in Alpine, NJ, and features a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans specific to their needs.
• Employ advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and facilitate optimal movement.
• Guide patients through structured rehabilitation programs, focusing on functional exercises designed to improve strength and mobility.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy techniques based on individual responses and feedback.
• Educate patients on their conditions and provide strategies for injury prevention and long-term health maintenance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care across various specialties.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals with post-surgical rehabilitation needs, and those managing chronic orthopedic conditions. You will experience varying cases, ranging from acute injuries to prolonged recovery scenarios, enriching your clinical expertise and patient handling capacities.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license issued by the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in physical therapy, with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; familiarity with WebPT is particularly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training in manual therapy, sports therapy, or pain management is a plus.
• Background in conducting movement screenings, functional assessments, and creating evidence-based treatment plans would be advantageous.
• Experience in developing community wellness programs or participating in outreach initiatives is welcomed.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
