The Human Touch Rehab Center, a pioneer in orthopedic rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team full-time in Dumont, New Jersey. Work Environment

Situated in the heart of Dumont, our rehabilitation facility provides a warm and inviting atmosphere where patients can feel comfortable and supported throughout their therapy sessions. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, engaging with a manageable patient load of approximately two patients per hour. This allows you the time and focus necessary to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical health, including detailed assessments of strength, range of motion, and functional capabilities to establish effective treatment plans.
• Implement targeted therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs that may include exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques to relieve pain, improve circulation, and enhance mobility, while monitoring each patient's progress throughout the treatment process.
• Regularly reassess patients to evaluate their progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring continued improvement and effective patient care.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions and progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, guaranteeing accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient population is diverse, ranging from active athletes seeking to regain peak performance to elderly individuals aiming to enhance their functional mobility and overall quality of life. Your tailored approach will be crucial in addressing the unique rehabilitation needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing is essential for this position.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably focused on orthopedic therapy.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of evidence-based practice in physical therapy.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, allowing for efficient patient record-keeping and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with current trends and advancements in physical therapy practices, particularly in manual therapy and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering an environment of mutual respect and support.

Compensation and Benefits

The Human Touch Rehab Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
