Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, identifying their goals, needs, and limitations.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Providing evidence-based interventions and constantly evaluating their effectiveness to adjust treatment as required.
• Designing tailored fitness and wellness programs that enhance patients' physical capabilities and encourage active lifestyles.
• Delivering motivational support and education to patients to instill confidence and enhance their commitment to the recovery process.
• Monitoring progress and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to address any ancillary health concerns that may impede recovery.
• Engaging in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of physical therapy benefits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is serving individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, post-operative individuals, and those affected by degenerative conditions. Your role is vital in tailoring interventions that reflect each patient's unique circumstances and goals, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A strong foundation in patient assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
