Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and meticulously document findings to create tailored treatment strategies for each patient.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that align with patient goals and recovery timelines.
• Guide patients through a series of targeted exercises to increase their strength, mobility, and overall functional ability.
• Utilize effective manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization to alleviate pain and improve functional recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adapting treatment plans proactively based on their response to therapy and recovery goals.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients, providing education about their conditions and empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in developing strategies that focus on restoring movement and functionality while addressing specific patient concerns. Your role will directly affect their ability to return to daily activities and maintain an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with a clean professional record.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, preferably with orthopedic focus.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly with platforms such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in sports rehabilitation or post-operative orthopedic recovery.
• Familiarity with current physical therapy practice trends and evidence-based treatments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Compensation and Benefits
