Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. You will manage a moderate patient volume, averaging two patients per hour, enabling you to provide focused attention and quality care for each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical health to understand their limitations and needs.
• Develop personalized and actionable treatment plans based on patients' specific conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Facilitate therapeutic exercises and tailored rehabilitation programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall functional mobility.
• Employ manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, promote healing, and enhance mobility in patients.
• Regularly assess patient progress and adjust care plans proactively to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records through electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Human Touch Rehab Center, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will be crucial in guiding each patient through their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Experience with EMR tools, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will also possess expertise in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, or geriatric therapy. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation strategies and continuous education in the physical therapy domain is an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
