Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, taking into consideration their medical history and specific rehabilitation goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises and functional activities they can perform at home to support their therapy and encourage self-management of their condition.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff—to ensure comprehensive care and optimal recovery pathways for patients.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to effectively document patient interactions and keep thorough records of treatment progress and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic procedures and injuries, such as joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. This role requires a commitment to understanding their emotional and physical challenges while implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery. Your expertise will support patients of varying ages, with a focus on empowering them to regain their mobility and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and comfort using EMR systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations is a plus, as we frequently encounter these demographics within our clinic.
• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices and evidence-based therapy approaches, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and is accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
