Position Overview

Concentra Physical Therapy and Wellness Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist for our outpatient facility located in Little Ferry, New Jersey. This full-time position requires a committed professional who will leverage their expertise to enhance patient recovery and rehabilitation outcomes. The ideal candidate will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, to create individualized care plans aimed at improving patients' physical health and mobility.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on clinical findings and individual patient goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises to promote recovery.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, at-home exercise programs, and wellness approaches to enhance their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other medical professionals to offer a coordinated approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT).

• CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop rapport with diverse patient populations.
• A solid foundation in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation practices is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience with specialized treatment techniques or modalities relevant to sports and orthopedic therapy.
• A demonstrated interest in ongoing professional development, with aspirations for mentorship or leadership roles within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits
