Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our outpatient office located in the heart of Westwood, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physical assessments to identify patient needs and document clinical findings accurately.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies based on thorough evaluations and ongoing patient assessments.
• Guide patients through a structured series of exercises aimed at enhancing their strength, flexibility, and functional abilities.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to facilitate pain management and functional recovery, monitoring patient responses and modifying techniques as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of treatment plans and progress, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and support interdisciplinary treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population served includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role allows you to make a substantial impact on patients ranging from young athletes to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your ability to connect with patients and motivate them throughout their recovery journey will be key to their success.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a strong professional record.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in orthopedics.
• Expertise in advanced manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT or similar platforms for patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable, especially familiarity with standard rehabilitation protocols for post-operative and sports injury patients. Compensation and Benefits
