Work Environment

Our outpatient office located in Woodcliff Lake offers a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where physical therapy professionals can thrive. The practice is a hub for motivated physical therapists to engage with patients one-on-one, providing them maximum attention and the personalized care they deserve. As a full-time therapist, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a structured schedule that allows for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with various orthopedic conditions, accurately identifying their needs and developing effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment regimens incorporating evidence-based techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, safe movement patterns, and personalized home exercise programs to reinforce treatment goals.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians and other medical staff to enhance patient care, ensuring all interventions align with clinical guidelines.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize rehabilitation results and outcomes.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and effective communication among care providers.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated with advancements in orthopedic physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The position focuses on an adult patient demographic experiencing a variety of orthopedic issues, including, but not limited to, post-operative recovery, acute injuries from sports or day-to-day activities, and chronic pain conditions affecting mobility. The insights gained from direct patient interaction will inform your treatment methodologies, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual's rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
• The ability to create and apply effective, patient-specific treatment plans based on current best practices in physical therapy.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach, displaying empathy and understanding to those in recovery.
• The capacity to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy or outpatient setting is highly desirable.

• Experience using EMR systems for documentation and progress tracking would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
