Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed physical assessments and document findings meticulously to guide treatment decisions.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Employ advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and promote functional recovery effectively.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercise regimens, and home care strategies to encourage sustained recovery outside the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will primarily work with adult patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain. You will have the opportunity to help these individuals navigate their recovery journeys through tailored therapeutic interventions, addressing their specific physical therapy needs and optimizing their return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no disciplinary actions.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating strong therapeutic skills and patient management.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in therapeutic exercise principles.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms, preferably WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in orthopedic physical therapy or sports rehabilitation is a plus.
• Familiarity with treatment protocols for various surgical procedures, such as ACL repairs or total joint replacements.
• Active participation in professional organizations or continuing education courses in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
