Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients upon their initial visits, assessing physical conditions and understanding individual rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and execute customized therapy plans that address patient goals, limitations, and the specific rehabilitative needs resulting from orthopedic injuries or conditions.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises that improve strength, flexibility, and movement, while continuously monitoring their progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques tailored to relieve pain and optimize recovery outcomes for diverse patient presentations.
• Accurately document all patient interactions, therapy plans, and ongoing progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to maintain compliance and promote effective communication with the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an orthopedic patient population, consisting of individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will engage with a diverse array of patients ranging from athletes seeking to regain competitive edge to older adults striving to enhance mobility and independence. Your expertise will play a crucial role in tailoring rehabilitation interventions that meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license, free from restrictions.
• At least 2 years of professional clinical experience, demonstrating competency in physical therapy practice.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with exposure to a wide variety of patient cases.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or areas of physical therapy (e.g., sports therapy, dry needling) are highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
