Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical evaluations of patients to accurately assess their conditions and functional abilities, tailoring each evaluation to individual needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that are evidence-based and achievable, targeting specific rehabilitation goals in collaboration with patients.
• Utilize various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and advanced modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and correct body mechanics to reduce the risk of future injuries.
• Maintain ongoing communication with orthopedic specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.
• Document patient progress meticulously in accordance with HIPAA standards, adapting treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights on best practices, ensuring continuous improvement within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patients range from athletes needing rehabilitation post-injury to elderly individuals seeking to regain mobility. Each case presents unique challenges, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic therapy is highly desirable, although candidates with relevant clinical experience as recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and patient education methods.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy settings, demonstrating a keen understanding of rehabilitation for a varied patient demographic.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
