Experienced Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic Care

Work Environment

The role is based on-site in our outpatient office, which is designed to provide a welcoming and efficient treatment space. You will be working in a team-oriented environment that values each patient's journey to recovery. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life dynamic and predictable scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Administer hands-on therapy, utilizing advanced manual techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance recovery.
• Guide patients through individualized rehabilitation programs based on their unique injury or condition.
• Educate patients and their families about post-treatment care, management of injuries, and strategies for preventing future incidents.
• Collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team, which may include physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and overall health goals are met.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain meticulous patient documentation, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse cases, bringing your specialized skills to assist individuals in their journey toward enhanced physical strength and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, maintained in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and a commitment to providing quality patient care.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms, to facilitate efficient practice management.
• A clean licensure history with no prior board actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with aquatic therapy or specialty certifications related to orthopedics is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate expertise in rehabilitation protocols and recovery strategies for a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• A track record of successful collaboration in a team-based treatment approach.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
