Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing Physical Therapists to work closely with patients in their home environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, mobility limitations, and overall functional status to create tailored therapy plans.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to address patients' specific needs.
• Educate patients on home exercises and self-management strategies to promote independence and long-term recovery.
• Develop and adapt fitness and wellness programs that focus on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination for patients.
• Continuously assess and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans based on their response to therapy.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals such as physicians and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Advocate for patients by helping them set and meet personal goals aligned with their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and injury recovery. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work closely with individuals of all ages, from young athletes to senior clients, tailoring your approach to suit their unique rehabilitation needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Strong interest and experience in treating orthopedic populations, specifically those recovering from musculoskeletal injuries.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in home care or outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Certification in specialized treatment techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
