Work Environment

This full-time position requires your presence onsite, allowing you to work directly with patients in their homes. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities to identify impairments and establish personalized treatment objectives.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises aimed at improving mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing the overall quality of life.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, to coordinate care, ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques, home exercise programs, self-care strategies, and injury prevention methods to promote long-term wellness.
• Document treatment progress meticulously, adhering to regulatory standards and insurance requirements, which enables thorough tracking of patient outcomes and therapy effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is working with orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation services who require support post-injury or surgery, as well as those managing chronic pain conditions. This role empowers you to create impactful relationships with patients, guiding them through their recovery journeys in the comfort of their homes.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License required.
• At least 2-3 years of clinical experience is essential, with a preference for backgrounds in orthopedic and outpatient settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification for healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and building rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience
