Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where our Physical Therapist will deliver therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. The typical schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for consistent patient interaction throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to accurately assess mobility issues, strength deficits, and functional challenges.
• Create and implement personalized therapy plans targeting specific patient goals, incorporating a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct one-on-one rehabilitation sessions and guide patients through therapeutic exercises designed to enhance recovery and restore functionality.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and facilitate improved range of motion.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health and wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, as you will be engaging with a diverse client base, from young athletes to elderly individuals seeking to maintain their independence. Your role is critical in inspiring and motivating patients to actively participate in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active New Jersey state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or home care setting.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques, with a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home care environments.
• Proficient in using treatment modalities and therapeutic technologies that enhance patient recovery.
