Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, operating within the home care setting. You will work closely with patients in their residences, assessing their individual needs and crafting tailored treatment plans. The flexibility of home care allows for more personalized interactions with patients, ensuring that therapy can be adapted to their home environments and everyday routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients (including mobility, strength, and functionality) to establish baseline status and set realistic rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality-based interventions.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as dry needling, ultrasound therapy, or Kinesiology taping where appropriate to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to share insights and stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. You will engage with a diverse range of patients, from those recovering after joint replacements to athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries. Your compassionate approach will empower patients of all ages to regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A Master's Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A proven track record with at least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Exceptional clinical assessment skills and experience developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and educate patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with specialization in orthopedic physical therapy will be prioritized. Experience with home care settings and rehabilitation for acute or chronic musculoskeletal conditions will enhance the ability to excel in this role. Familiarity with treatment documentation software and electronic health records systems is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, along with performance-related bonuses.
