Empower Move Physical Therapy, LLC, located in Wayne, New Jersey, is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering expert orthopedic rehabilitation services to patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions. Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Empower Move, you will be working largely onsite in a home care facility. Our environment is fast-paced yet supportive, designed to foster teamwork and facilitate communication between multidisciplinary professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists. Your schedule will typically be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and identify rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's medical history, goals, and needs.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance functional performance and expedite recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans and goals as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding rehabilitation protocols, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to foster independence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive treatment for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those who are managing chronic pain conditions, and athletes looking to enhance their physical performance. Your role will require ongoing assessment and mastery of treatment techniques to cater to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they receive the highest level of care.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, encompassing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or experience working in orthopedic physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
