Key Responsibilities

• Direct patient care: Design and implement tailored physical therapy treatment programs based on comprehensive evaluations that include diagnostic and prognostic tests for muscles, nerves, and joints.
• Oversight of therapy assistants: Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants in the execution of the established treatment plans to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained.
• Functional assessments: Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' abilities and limitations to make informed recommendations for treatment and modification of the home environment.
• Education and motivation: Administer therapeutic exercises and educate patients on self-care techniques, motivating them to actively engage in their rehabilitation process.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records to track progress and ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation center, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to individuals recovering from sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. You will develop a strong rapport with your clients and their families, providing clear communication about treatment objectives, progress, and expected outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an orthopedic physical therapist, with a focus on developing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices and staying current with developments in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
