Our modern, 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility is equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools to support our highly qualified staff and diverse patient population.

Work Environment

At our Paterson location, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team of licensed professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our regular work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while providing consistent care to our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's specific health objectives and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs.
• Manage a productive caseload, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring that each treatment session is focused and effective.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities while minimizing reliance on medication or surgical intervention.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and modify care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments meticulously in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize multidisciplinary patient care and promote a holistic approach to recovery.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to foster adherence to their treatment plans and achieve their functional goals.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and wellness strategies to promote sustainable health and well-being beyond the treatment facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions who are covered by private medical insurance. As a part of our commitment to excellence in patient outcomes, you will help individuals ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to adults seeking rehabilitation following surgery, each with unique needs. Your role will directly influence their recovery paths and overall health, making quality care a top priority.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Proven competency in manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent skills in developing and implementing exercise regimens tailored to individual capabilities and goals.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to streamline patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired, showcasing successful patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to use a patient-centered approach to tailor treatment plans and deliver high-quality care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, which is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
