Work Environment

This position is designed to be onsite, primarily focused on home care settings. As an integral part of our team, you will travel to patients' homes to deliver therapy tailored to their individual needs. Our flexible schedule allows you to choose your own hours, with the option to work Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, diseases, or surgeries in their home environments.
• Establish comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, ensuring effective rehabilitation through exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques designed to reduce pain and increase functional mobility. This may include conducting stretching maneuvers and hands-on therapy suited to each patient's individual needs.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment regimens as required to optimize recovery outcomes continually.
• Provide education on preventive measures and rehabilitation practices to patients and their families to support ongoing health and wellness.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, caregivers, and family members, ensuring comprehensive communication for holistic patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training, to remain current with advancements in physical therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Home Care Physical Therapists cater to a diverse patient population, including children and adults with orthopedic conditions such as fractures, post-surgery rehabilitation, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal issues. This position allows physiotherapists to have a significant impact on patients' healing journeys by providing tailored care in an intimate and familiar setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with other health professionals.
• Adept in using computerized documentation and therapy-related software.
• Demonstrated need for flexibility and agility to meet the unique demands of patients in a home setting.
• No prior work experience required; we welcome new graduates to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
