Work Environment

This position is based in a comfortable and well-equipped home care facility in Elizabeth, NJ, where you will conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with patients. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's unique objectives and needs in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Maintain a patient load of one person per hour, optimizing time management while ensuring comprehensive care for every patient.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques to enhance patient mobility and functionality, including manual therapy and exercise regimens.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, regularly monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately, maintaining compliant and detailed records to support continuity of care.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's treatment.
• Encourage patients through their rehabilitation journey, offering motivation and support to help them regain independence and improve their lifestyle.
• Implement preventative strategies, contributing to minimizing the need for medications or invasive surgical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will specifically focus on patients with orthopedic concerns, providing care for those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions related to musculoskeletal systems. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are preferred.
• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Clear record with no disciplinary actions or board actions affecting licensure.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design effective therapeutic plans are essential for success.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and conducting personalized exercise regimens is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills allowing for effective communication with patients and collaboration with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
