Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work closely within our outpatient clinic setting. The typical hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a well-structured work timetable that balances professional responsibilities with personal well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans that address individual patient goals and specific orthopedic issues.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques to facilitate patient healing, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring that each individual receives personalized, focused care and attention throughout their treatment journey.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Employ effective communication strategies to educate patients about their conditions and the importance of adherence to their therapy regimen.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation process, providing encouragement and support to ensure they follow through with recommendations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to establish a holistic approach that encompasses physical, emotional, and educational guidance.
• Maintain meticulous documentation for all patient interactions, complying with clinic policies and utilizing EMR systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Your expertise will significantly impact the rehabilitation journeys of individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups, providing them with the tools and support needed to regain independence and improve their overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Demonstrable expertise in various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically with a preference for Web PT.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about current research and advancements in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to design comprehensive treatment programs tailored to specific patient demographics.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
