Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of each patient's physical condition, tailoring individual treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Create detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with best practices and state regulations.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education strategies.
• Participate in clinical teachings, providing mentorship and guidance to interns and new hires to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Engage in the preparation and presentation of in-service training sessions at least once annually to promote continuous learning among staff.
• Work closely with the facility manager to initiate and participate in clinical research projects aimed at advancing practice and improving patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient treatment plans, ensuring seamless care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population who require orthopedic rehabilitation. Your clients may include post-operative patients recovering from surgeries such as knee or hip replacements, individuals with sports-related injuries, and others suffering from chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy will allow you to address complex cases and contribute significantly to their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in evaluating patient conditions and developing appropriate intervention strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred, indicating specialized knowledge and commitment to excellence in this field.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
