Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art outpatient facility located in Newark, New Jersey. In this role, you will partner with patients on their journey to regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life. You will leverage a wide range of therapeutic techniques to create personalized care plans that address individual goals and rehabilitation needs.

Our dynamic team currently includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom are passionate about enhancing the wellness of our clients.

Work Environment

Located in the heart of Newark, our 5,000 square-foot facility is a modern space dedicated to sports medicine and outpatient physical therapy. The office is equipped with the latest therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment, providing an ideal setting for both patients and staff. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life integration. This onsite role prioritizes collaboration among team members and interdisciplinary communication, promoting a cohesive and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand patients' conditions, goals, and needs.
• Create comprehensive care plans that utilize various treatment modalities for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions and involve them actively in the rehabilitation process.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Implement exercise regimens tailored to individual treatment goals, focusing on strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery to foster a positive healing environment.
• Stay updated on the latest research and practices in physical therapy to continually improve treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on clients experiencing orthopedic issues, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We cater to a diverse patient demographic, emphasizing personalized care that addresses each individual's circumstances. By promoting functional improvement and reducing dependency on medications or unnecessary surgical interventions, we strive to empower our clients to lead healthier, more active lives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• No prior disciplinary actions or board actions on your professional license.
• Proficient manual therapy skills with hands-on treatment capabilities.
• Competencies in exercise prescription and rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Experience in developing fitness and wellness programs for clients.

Compensation and Benefits
