Work Environment

Your work setting will be onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will benefit from access to advanced technology and rehabilitation equipment. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to crafting individualized care plans. The work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish their therapy goals and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload, ensuring high-quality, one-on-one therapy sessions at the rate of one patient per hour.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to provide cost-effective treatments designed to enhance movement and functionality.
• Develop varied exercise routines and therapeutic activities that support patients in minimizing dependency on medications and surgical interventions.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adapt therapy techniques as necessary, documenting all interventions accurately.
• Utilize evidence-based practices while employing advanced manual therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging active participation in their recovery process.
• Maintain active communication with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Document treatment notes and track patient outcomes using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, including WebPT.
• Promote exercises and lifestyle adjustments that enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination within your patient demographic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with a diverse group of patients, requiring a personalized approach to treatment that addresses their unique challenges and goals. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing their ability to perform daily activities and return to their desired level of physical function.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) will be given preference.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is mandatory, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions should have been recorded on your license.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and the ability to design comprehensive exercise programs are essential for success in this role.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, is preferred to streamline documentation and patient management processes.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, illustrating their understanding of patient care dynamics and rehabilitation methodologies. Previous exposure to diverse patient populations and evolving treatment plans will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
