This full-time role will focus on providing exceptional orthopedic care in an outpatient setting, directly impacting the mobility and quality of life of our patients. Our facility boasts modern equipment and resources that support a holistic approach to rehabilitation, recovery, and wellness.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Newark, NJ outpatient office, where you will be part of a close-knit team comprised of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our work week runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while enabling you to deliver quality care without the distractions of weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

Your impactful role will encompass the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient objectives and develop personalized care plans aimed at fulfilling their needs.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of patients, typically seeing one patient per hour, to ensure focused and high-quality treatment.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques to maximize client mobility, implementing a variety of modalities that align with best practices.
• Develop tailored exercise regimens and wellness programs to motivate and enhance the physical capabilities of each patient.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, document findings meticulously, and adjust treatment plans based on effectiveness.
• Promote holistic health by providing education on lifestyle changes that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage patients in their care journey, encouraging active participation and empowerment through understanding their treatment processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility focuses on a diverse range of patients primarily with orthopedic conditions. From post-surgical rehabilitation to sports injuries, you will work with individuals at various stages of their healing process. Your role will be vital in helping these clients overcome physical limitations and regain an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board issues related to licensure.
• Valid CPR certification and other relevant credentials.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred for candidates:

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of exercise prescription.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT.
• A history of delivering personalized patient-centered care that emphasizes positive outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
