Work Environment

This onsite position fosters a collaborative atmosphere where every team member plays a crucial role in patient recovery. You will work within a multidisciplinary team that currently consists of two physical therapists and one PTA, allowing for a shared commitment to exceptional patient care. With a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, you will find a balanced work-life environment conducive to professional growth and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to set and assess their rehabilitation goals and requirements.
• Maintain a patient caseload of one individual per hour, providing focused and personalized treatment.
• Implement effective treatment protocols based on best practices in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Deliver cost-effective therapeutic interventions designed to enhance clients' range of motion and increase mobility.
• Encourage the reduction of medication reliance by introducing alternative therapeutic techniques.
• Craft and periodically revise comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs.
• Motivate patients through their recovery process, fostering a supportive environment.
• Enhance patients' overall health by possibly improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers to ensure continuous, holistic patient care.
• Evaluate therapeutic outcomes, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate communication records.
• Document all patient care services thoroughly in compliance with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. The patient population predominantly consists of those with musculoskeletal injuries, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients from varying backgrounds, helping them regain mobility and encourage their active participation in their treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current and valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• Have an exemplary professional record without any disciplinary actions taken against your license.
• Demonstrate strong skills in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, we are keen on candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care. Proficiency in developing evidence-based exercise programs and familiarity with the latest advancements in physical therapy are advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
