Work Environment

This role will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. You will collaborate closely with a team composed of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work together to provide patient-centered care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to identify their specific goals and requirements, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Manage a structured caseload, treating one patient per hour to ensure each individual receives focused and quality care.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that effectively meet patient needs.
• Deliver cost-effective treatments to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility, with a goal of minimizing reliance on medications and surgical procedures.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate a blend of therapeutic techniques, exercise regimens, and wellness strategies.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs, adapting your approach to align with patient-specific needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring transparent communication with patients about their journey toward recovery.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions meticulously to uphold the highest standards of care and compliance.
• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach, enhancing overall patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients, ranging from athletes needing rehabilitation to adults seeking to regain functional independence post-surgery, creating a rewarding and varied clinical experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record, free from board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, allowing for immediate contribution to our practice.
• Demonstrated expertise in treating patients with sports-related injuries and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing a compassionate, positive patient experience.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
