Position Overview

SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center in Jersey City, New Jersey, is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in assisting patients as they strive to achieve optimal mobility and functionality. As a member of our therapeutic team, you will engage in key areas that encompass promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation techniques.

Our state-of-the-art facility, spanning 5,000 square feet, is equipped with the latest in sports medicine technology, allowing our skilled therapists to deliver high-quality care tailored to each individual. Our team is small yet passionate, comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) who work collaboratively to ensure a supportive and effective treatment environment for our patients, most of whom are covered by private medical insurance.

Work Environment

Located in Jersey City, NJ, our outpatient office thrives within a community-focused environment that prioritizes patient welfare and individualized care. Operating in a full-time capacity from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our clinic fosters a dynamic and collaborative culture. You will have the opportunity to work directly with a friendly team in a setting that encourages professional development and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify patients' specific goals and requirements through thorough assessments to establish secure and personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, efficiently managing a patient load of one patient per hour while delivering effective, evidence-based interventions.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and techniques to enhance patient mobility and function, integrating exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation strategies.
• Contribute to patient wellness by minimizing reliance on medications and presenting alternatives to surgical interventions through informed treatment choices.
• Design and implement customized exercise and fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs, evolving as their conditions improve.
• Monitor and assess treatment outcomes, documenting progress and adapting care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, comprehensive care is delivered to all patients.
• Motivate and inspire patients to fully engage with their treatment plans to maximize their recovery and functional independence.
• Document patient care meticulously to maintain accurate records and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at SpringLeaf primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on delivering specialized care that enhances mobility and promotes long-term health. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey without any disciplinary actions on your record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to inspire confidence in your patients through skilled application of therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically using platforms such as WebPT to maintain patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement exercise regimens tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
