Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Outpatient Orthopedic Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. This full-time position will immerse you in a collaborative environment focused on helping patients regain their mobility and achieve their health goals. You will engage with patients to provide exceptional care in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Work Environment

The work culture at our center is characterized by a commitment to professional development, teamwork, and continuous improvement. As part of a cohesive team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will work in an onsite outpatient office, delivering hands-on treatments in a supportive atmosphere. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients upon their initial visits to identify their specific objectives and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage your caseload by seeing one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and high-quality care.
• Create and implement comprehensive care plans incorporating a wide range of treatment modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver personalized therapy that emphasizes functional improvement and overall wellness.
• Encourage active participation and motivation in patients during their recovery journey, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
• Document all therapies and interventions meticulously while maintaining open lines of communication with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize overall patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, adjust plans as necessary, and keep patients informed about their progress.
• Promote health education and assist patients in transitioning to independent self-care and prevention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center, our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work closely with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. Our clientele consists mainly of adults, many of whom have private insurance, allowing for more comprehensive treatment options. As a skilled physical therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life as they navigate their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey without any record of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of exercise science.
• Ability to utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically in platforms such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in creating personalized exercise regimens and treatment plans.
• A proven track record of enhancing patient mobility and functional abilities post-treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
