Position Overview

In It Together Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Physical Therapist to enhance our dynamic outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Ridgewood, New York. This full-time position offers a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for an excellent work-life balance while providing high-quality care to our patients. The role involves managing a manageable caseload, typically servicing 6 to 7 patients per day, thereby ensuring meaningful engagement with each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical health, strength, functionality, and rehabilitation needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and patient interviews.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment protocols aimed at improving mobility, alleviating pain, and restoring functional ability following orthopedic procedures or musculoskeletal injuries.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modality use (such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation), to facilitate recovery.
• Provide patient education regarding injury prevention strategies, self-management techniques, and at-home exercise programs designed to promote long-term health.
• Accurately document patient progress in compliance with clinic protocols and adjust treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, regularly communicating with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work primarily with adult and senior patients experiencing varied orthopedic conditions, including postoperative recovery from joint surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
