We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Atmore Physical Therapy's outpatient facility in Fairview, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in physical therapy practices, complemented by at least two years of clinical experience, and a passion for improving the lives of patients facing functional limitations and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop, implement, and refine personalized treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations.
• Provide expert consultations to other healthcare professionals to coordinate the patient's continuum of care effectively.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional documentation standards by meticulously evaluating and documenting patient progress.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, aiding in their professional development while optimizing departmental resources.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote our services and foster connections within Fairview and surrounding areas.
• Participate in continuing education workshops and seminars, including leadership functions within our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include individuals of all ages with a variety of orthopedic conditions, chronic conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation needs. You will work closely with patients from diverse backgrounds, focusing not just on clinical recovery, but on holistic approaches that consider psychosocial factors in rehabilitation. It is vital to foster relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique experiences to provide tailored care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state license in Physical Therapy before the start date.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience in a clinical setting is mandatory, candidates with experience in outpatient therapy, especially in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings, will be highly regarded.
