Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment plans, utilizing various methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Implement effective treatment regimens tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals, which may include mobility restoration, pain management, and functional independence.
• Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment plans based on evolving needs and therapeutic outcomes, ensuring optimal care delivery.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately and timely, tracking patient responses, progress, and altering strategies as necessary to align with therapeutic objectives.
• Collaborate with other health care providers, caregivers, and families to reinforce treatment strategies and promote continuity of care across all settings.
• Provide training and support to patients and families regarding the use of assistive devices and home exercise programs to enhance recovery and self-sufficiency.
• Stay current with best practices in the field by engaging in continuing education, attending workshops, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, who may be recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and a range of chronic disorders. Our holistic approach emphasizes personalized treatment, ensuring that every patient receives the specific care necessary to meet their rehabilitation goals while enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, displaying flexibility and adaptability to meet patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with various patient populations, particularly geriatrics or pediatrics, is a plus.
