Work Environment

Our Newark facility offers an onsite work setting where you will engage directly with patients and collaborate in a team-oriented atmosphere. With a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will typically work during standard business hours, although occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and equipment to assist in various rehabilitation therapies, providing a supportive and efficient space for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing assessment skills to address the unique goals of each patient.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movements aimed at enhancing physical well-being and alleviating pain.
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care beyond the clinic.
• Administer various modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy as part of a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including tracking changes in range of motion, strength, and functional ability to ensure responsive adjustments to treatment strategies.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure that therapeutic equipment is available and organized for use during sessions.
• Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide a cohesive treatment plan and achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing a positive mindset and fostering resilience.
• Adhere strictly to ethical practices, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting all patient rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics. Your role is pivotal in understanding their unique concerns and tailoring therapeutic interventions that promote healing and encourage independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation facility is a plus.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this role is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
