Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in a home care or clinic setting, identifying their needs and establishing personalized treatment goals based on their health history and rehabilitation requirements.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based practices, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of physical modalities.
• Monitor and document progress accurately, adjusting the treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs and goals.
• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic exercises and the proper use of assistive devices to enhance independence and mobility.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and by being an active member of relevant professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from children to adults, addressing various conditions including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, helping them regain functionality and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Avalid State License in Physical Therapy is required to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and scheduling purposes.
• Highly adaptable and responsive to changing patient needs and clinical situations.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
