Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions through comprehensive examinations and testing.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and recovery goals.
• Apply hands-on therapy techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to promote healing and increase mobility.
• Educate patients on recovery strategies, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care practices.
• Document patient progress meticulously within our EMR system (WebPT), ensuring treatment plans are adjusted based on real-time feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated and effective patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest techniques and research developments in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive care that addresses not only the physical aspects of recovery but also the emotional and psychological challenges faced by our clients. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that these patients regain not just their functionality but also their confidence in performing daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license, in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant field.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• No prior disciplinary or board actions against your professional license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with alternative therapeutic modalities such as dry needling or kinesiology taping.
• Experience training clients in post-surgical rehabilitation protocols or athletic recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
