Full-Time Physical Therapist - Onsite Care Specialist

Position Overview

Up And Running Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Bergenfield, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will work on-site within our established orthopedic outpatient facility, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient recovery and well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments, ensuring alignment with recovery goals.
• Utilize hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve patients' functional abilities and pain levels.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery strategies, self-management techniques, and preventive care to promote long-term health.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR), making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of care and improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus on a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation services for various orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By providing tailored therapy and support, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.
• A history free from disciplinary or board actions enhances your candidacy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient and/or home care environment is advantageous.
• Ability to engage effectively with patients and foster a compassionate therapeutic relationship.
• Proficiency in conducting group therapy sessions and community education programs.

Compensation and Benefits
