Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focusing on home care provisions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Implement hands-on interventions, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to promote healing.
• Educate patients and their families about post-treatment care strategies, pain management techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate and enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation through our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, fostering open communication with patients regarding their recovery goals.

The patient population served by Up And Running is diverse, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your work will significantly impact patients ranging from young athletes to older adults seeking to regain their independence. Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active New Jersey Physical Therapist license, in good standing without any prior disciplinary actions.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar setting, demonstrating a proven ability to apply therapeutic techniques effectively.
• Possess strong manual therapy skills and a thorough understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings or outpatient orthopedic clinics is a plus.
• Prior experience working with a diverse patient demographic, including geriatrics and sports rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
