Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
• Design, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans that cater to individual patient goals and recovery trajectories.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on proper movement mechanics and develop at-home exercise programs to support recovery and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and multidisciplinary medical staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records utilizing our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves an elderly population, many of whom are recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or facing the challenges of age-related mobility issues. As a Senior Physical Therapist, your approach and empathy will be instrumental in building trust and rapport with these patients, ultimately aiding their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent from an accredited institution is essential.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in developing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.

Preferred Experience
