Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Paterson, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children and adults, identifying specific needs and tailoring interventions accordingly.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that outline clear therapeutic goals, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress through regular re-evaluations, ensuring treatment effectiveness and adjusting strategies as necessary to meet recovery milestones.
• Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation such as SOAP notes, treatment summaries, and patient care plans using our electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and their families on the recovery process, coping strategies, and suitable home exercises to enhance therapy benefits.
• Achieve utilization goals and contribute to other business objectives, fostering a results-driven culture within the team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide integrated care for patients involved in multiple therapy services, ensuring coordinated treatment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Willingness to perform physical therapy assessments and treatments both in-person and via telehealth platforms when clinically appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits
