Work Environment

Our regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a structured environment conducive to both patient care and personal wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, identifying their specific needs and goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment strategies based on clinical findings and patient input.
• Guide patients through tailored rehabilitation exercises aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, balance, and functional capabilities.
• Utilize advanced hands-on manual therapy techniques to relieve pain, promote healing, and improve overall mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, encouraging active participation in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Park North, you will work primarily with orthopedic outpatients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our patient demographic is diverse, consisting of young athletes, active adults, and older adults seeking enhanced mobility and pain relief. A focus on building rapport with patients is crucial, as you will play an integral role in fostering their trust and commitment to the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey PT license in good standing, allowing you to practice without restrictions.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally in outpatient orthopedics.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a holistic approach to patient treatment.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and current rehabilitation techniques.
• Previous involvement in professional development activities or continuing education is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Park North Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
